Michael is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Government, a minor in History, Russian language proficiency and a concentration in Liberal Arts Honors. Michael focused on coursework and studies related to the rule of law and its relationship to systems of governance around the world. During his time at Texas, Michael was elected Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi and was a member of the Texas Cowboys, a distinguished men’s service organization. Michael enjoys cycling, reading, and giving time to his church, community, and political organizations.
